Ladoo/Laddu is a sweet recipe prepared in occasions and celebrations like diwali and also offered as prasad to God. Laddus/Ladoos are primarily made from flour, fat (ghee/butter/oil) and sugar.  Laddus are often made of gram flour but today we will see how to make ladoos from bengal gram/kadala paruppu. INGREDIENTS ☆ Kadalai paruppu/Bengal gram-250 gms ☆ Sugar-275 gms ☆ Ghee-3 tsp ☆ Dry fruits  ☆ Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp ☆ Water-1/4 cup ☆ Oil-to deep fry INSTRUCTIONS  ◇ Soak the bengal gram in water for minimum 1 hour. ◇ Add soaked bengal gram in a mixer jar, add little water and blend it into a smooth paste. ◇ Add oil in a wok and heat it in a medium flame. ◇ Add the blended paste in small and thin round shapes, similar to vada and fry until the color changes to light brown. ◇ Don't fry too crispy or else ladoos won't absorb the sugar syrup. ◇ After frying all batter, tear it into small pieces and add it to a mixer jar. ◇ Coarsely blend it in a single pulse for 1 minute....

These thin pastry sheets are made of all purpose flour or maida, water, oil, and salt, and their square shape makes them ideal for wrapping the vegetable stuffing for spring rolls. Spring roll sheets / wrappers, samosa patti can be prepared at home in an easy manner. INGREDIENTS All purpose flour/ Maida-2 cup Salt-A pinch Oil-1 tsp Water-To knead INSTRUCTIONS 1. In a bowl add 2 cups of all purpose flour. 2. Then add salt and water, to knead into a soft dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes. 3. Take small portions of dough and roll each into chapathi layer. 4. Take 1 layer and on top of it add 1 tsp oil and spread all over, then sprinkle some flour on top. 5. Keep next layer above it and repeat the same until all layers are arranged. 6. Puran poli is a sweet flatbread stuffed with a sweet lentil filling made from skinned spilt bengal gram (chana dal) and jaggery. In marathi language the sweet filling is called as  Puran  and the bread is called as  Poli .  This puran poli  recipe is different as black chickpeas are added to the filling instead of chana dal. Plus the poli is also made from whole wheat flour (atta) instead of all purpose flour (maida). Soya chunks is a great source of protein and I include in our diet in the form of either fry or kurma with it. But today for a change made soya chunks 65 for the meatless dishes.It came out super delicious and we all enjoyed.
